How do I get my results and how long does it take?

Once you place your order, you’ll receive an email from Nucleus with order details and shipping information.
Once you receive your DNA test kit, you’ll be able to take your DNA sample — a simple swab of your cheek — in a matter of minutes. As soon as you’re done, you can ship your sample to our lab using our prepaid USPS shipping label.
When your results are ready, you’ll receive an email notification. Log in to Nucleus on your phone or computer to explore your unique health insights.
How does DNA testing work?

Nucleus’ whole-genome test analyzes your DNA for millions of variants that can impact your disease risks. The variants are then classified and interpreted using a combination of new genetic analysis models, public and private databases, and variant interpretation guidelines from nationally recognized genetics associations, such as the American College of Medical Genetics.

Yes, you can download your DNA file anytime from your Account Settings page. To download your DNA file, go to your Account Settings page and submit a request. You’ll receive an email with your DNA file.
